Group 4: Preservation and Promotion of Historic Mine Sites
The goal of the projects in this group is to enhance existing sites and create new locations (museums, landmarks, etc.) that provide information about this area’s colorful and vast mining heritage, as well as demonstrate some of the mine clean-up work that has already been done in the watershed. The sites will provide information on the history and future vision for the Clear Creek Watershed.
